We plugged in a long cord and the weight must be too much for the small hook the receiver hangs on. We were looking for a wall phone with Caller ID and Call Waiting features. Price was an issue as we did not want to spend too much and we did not want a cordless phone. The other negative is that the phone tries to fall off of the receiver when you hang up from a call. It is made in China. This phone has good sound quality.
It is a bit hard to see in our kitchen nook. We looked at Walmart and Best Buy with no luck. The Caller ID is not bright. It is a bit bulky though. The battery compartment makes it a bit large. My assessment is that this price equals this quality of phone.
Will not buy another phone over the internet.
A decent enough phone. Caller ID works fine, phone sound quality is good. It goes through batteries faster than I would like. I just dropped it and broke it, and am buying another.
This is a great phone, but I ordered it twice in white and received black phones. Okay with me because it matched, but it may not make others happy.
